Pacha armchair with armrests

Designed in 1952 by Greta M. Grossman, but named Desk 62 because it was considered to be ten years ahead of its time. Desk 62 appears light and seems to defy gravity with its original asymmetrical lines and slender metal legs balanced on small wooden feet, a characteristic feature of its designer. Its exceptional shape is highlighted by the elegant combination of materials. The desk is made of American walnut and features a deep, glossy black finish on the tabletop and the cabinet door.

Composed of a chaise longue, a three-seater sofa, a pouf, and a floor lamp, all made of rattan, the Bohemian 72 collection embodies Gabriella Crespi's goal of creating furniture that harmoniously blends indoor and outdoor living. She never allowed curtains or screens to block the natural flow of light or air and had what her daughter describes as "a deep feeling for the cosmic energy of nature".

Paulin created the chair in harmony with the changing design style of his time, replacing the austerity of post-war design with a new vigorous approach. Slightly raised on its base. With comfort as a constant starting point in his creations, the Pacha chair's whimsical and organic shapes and curves are designed to serve the body.
